Printmaking Class 2 of 4

Today we attended the second of four classes in the Printmaking series at the Butler.

Last week, the kids made a jungle- themed relief using a block of wood and some thin, adhesive-backed foam.  This week, they made an engraving by scratching an animal-shaped design into a foam sheet, then using a water-based printers’ ink to make a print.  They will be adding the animal print to the jungle print in the next session.

Young Historians was canceled today because the faciliator had a death in her family. We did not attend gymnastics due to bad weather.
