Today we had a make-up violin lesson for the one we missed while we were at Kalahari. The girls met with Tina in her little studio for their regular lesson, then they went into the main house and met with Nelya, their accompanist for Federation.
In addition to being their violin accompanist, Nelya has agreed to take them on as piano students. We will start next week. The girls have been asking for a long time to take piano, but I haven’t been able to find a teacher who also participates in Federation. Nelya isn’t a Suzuki teacher, but we will give it a try and see how things work out. I am not sure if we will stick with violin or do piano exclusively. We’re going to continue with both for the time being.
