Today was the last of this series of six classes at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.
In S8’s class, they brought home their specimen box (read: egg carton) with different rock samples.
She also brought home a class observation journal, which they kept throughout the class. I scanned a few pages for reference- the entire book is in our science folder.
S8 also got to bring home the giant paper icosohedron. It got a little beat up trying to fit it in the van, but it survived enough to show DH later at home.
In O6’s class, they brought home their mummified hot dogs, a folder with the papers from the class, and a big blue hippo she made out of papier mache.
Here, O6 is explaining her sarcophagus. It is in a shoebox, which is supposed to be its temple.
