Peculiar Paleontology: Week II

Today was our second Paleontology class at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.

Because it was also Valentine’s Day, the kids made dinosaur-themed valentines to bring home.

Immediately after class let out we got on the road and headed towards Florida for our annual family reunion. We drove half way, stopping in Rock Hill, SC for the night.

Here we are at a quick stop in West Virginia:

On the drive down, we got to go through two tunnels. We also listened to “The Wide Window”, one of the books from Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. We absolutely love this series, especially the versions read by Tim Curry.
