The Carnegie Science Center offers homeschool science classes, and we managed to fit one into our busy schedule this month. The topic was “Robotics” and it gave the kids a chance to learn a little bit about how humans talk to robots so we can get them to do things.
I did not attend with the kids, but they told me about the class afterwards. They learned a little about binary code and did a scavenger hunt in the RoboWorld area of the science center. They also got to program a sprite on a computer.
On the way home we got to drive through the Fort Pitt Tunnel (always very cool), and then we saw a hot air balloon over the Ohio line.
