46 Circus Acts in 45 Minutes

The last production in the 2010-11 season of the Pittsburgh International Children’s Theater was called “46 Circus Acts in 45 Minutes”. What a phenomenal, high-energy, captivating show! We saw it at the Byham itself, whereas all the other performances in this season were held at a high school auditorium. It was great going downtown Pittsburgh with the whole family, taking in a show at the grand old theatre.

The name says it all. With their beeline approach to high-flying fun, the cheeky Aussies of Circa push their own limits as they barrel, bolt and balance at breakneck speed. From awesome acrobatics to fantastic free-falls, the competitive camaraderie of four unbelievably skilled performers fuels awe and adoration in this “breathless barrage and banquet of circus pandemonium” (City News, Brisbane). Warning: All laughter, applause and cheering must take place off the clock!

Best for children of all ages.
