Pumpkin Life Cycle

It’s harvest season, and since pumpkins are basically the mascots of Ohio autumn, we did a few pumpkin-related coloring sheets that I downloaded from Enchanted Learning.  I like to use that as a supplement to our other materials because everything is in black and white, just begging to be colored, and my kids love to color.

We’ve planted lots of different seeds, including pumpkins (though they don’t grow terribly well in our shady yard). The kids have seen all the stages of the pumpkin life cycle in person, which makes me happy.  It was still a nice activity and a good way to get into the spirit of the season.
